Well the new 1wtc looks wider from the bottom and goes slimmer to the top so it's a mystery.

WTC1 is taller and narrower than old twins. Here you can see the difference:

Actually, the new 1WTC's base is a few feet narrower than the original bases.

Upon closer examination, the ventilated mechanical floors on 1WTC are located at approximately the same span of floors where the jet impact occurred at the North Tower. A subtle reminder of what happened?

How high was your office Chapelo? New 1WTC vents start at ~350 m and end at ~375 m.

It's funny how you say, One WTC is taller than the old twins by looking at a photoshopped image!

Width of new One WTC : 60.96 meters
Width of old One WTC : 63 meters

But I guess the roof height of new One WTC is 406 meters while the figure 417 meters account to that of Parapet...
So, obviously when the spiretenna is not considered, the old one beats the new one in 4 out of 5 aspects.

Very nice comparison and photos! Although the top part of 1WTC is narrower than the old twins, it looks much more elegant, aesthetics and still massive from my point of view... Besides, looks lovely too.!!!

Yes, if you have not seen 1WTC in person yet, you will be amazed how massive the tower is in real life! No matter how amazing the photo is, it does not do this tower justice

You're talking about the 70 ft. wide entrance, though. When I said fašade, I only included what surrounded the entrance. That's why I said the entrance is still undergoing some work.

No one is saying this tower isn't massive, just that the twins were even more massive.
