#22 I thought the radome looked tacky in the earlier renders. By the way, have a great trip Chibears. Cant wait to see your photos!

I didnt exactly love the spire to begin with, but it's actually grown on me, so maybe i'm the half on the 4.5. But I'd like to be #23..

Even though I (like so many others) was upset about the radome removal, I actually quite like the spire/antenna so I'm #24

So got a question here, will the World Trade Center be connected like the old one for example by the underground concourse or whatever? By this I mean all the buildings and stuff and is there any plans to place any statues or works of art in the plaza?

The light from the beacon is shining extremely bright. Wonder if they're testing it?

About the spire, for sure they could have gone with a better design. But I can't stand the communications ring. Maybe it will look better after the dishes are installed.

(Well, moving on...)

It always sucks when the architect's original vision can't be brought to reality, but in this case the result of the spire is pretty good, so I'm #26.

Pretty amazing still.... reminds me of something out of the 1920's... or maybe a gigantic lighthouse.

the beacon light is visible from earthcam, according to dmb609 on instagram in the earlier daytime photo the beacon was at 75% strength.
