I know we've had many of these comments that this foundation is taking sooo long. But I have to agree, I never stared so long at foundation construction webcam as much at any other buildings.

It says one person successfully jumped off BD. Never knew that but this headline is very true.

The foundations went quite fast, but the substructure is a bit slow. However don't forget they had to remove 25% of the concrete in February because the quality was not good enough. This caused a few months delay.
But don't worry they're catching up speed again. Two floors to go and the floor slabs are at ground level

you mean 2 floors for north half of the core? and the south half of the core is already at ground level I think.

And also, is the project is few months behind, how much penalty do the workers pay? roughly.

Actually I wasn't talking about the core, but about the floors itself. The core is normally a few stories higher than the floors so it won't take long before the core is above street level
I don't think the the workers got a penalty since it was the concrete that was badly mixed. I'm sure the suppliers of the concrete had to pay a fine.

I highly doubt the workers have to pay. These are union workers in NYC.

Why would the workers have to pay a penalty? pls stop double posting just to get your post count higher... its really annoying.

Right now they're laying a floor on the left side of the core (looking at the Earthcam).

The concrete pour finally makes the floor look tidy and clean.

I really want to know: that wall on the south edge of the freedom tower site (or on the left side of the site from webcam view), is it temporary wall or structural wall?

it's for the underground-path, so it is neither temporary nor for the FT structure
