I'm sure others have mentioned this before ...

I really love the way the buildings and skyscrapers are massed on lower Manhattan. It almost looks carefully planned and intentional.

One WTC looks like the pinnacle of a mountain as it's neighbors slope towards the water's edge.

Newbie

Hey guys,
I'm new to the forum (been watching without an account for a while now), but FINALLY decided to join. Just to say I'm happy to be here to appreciate good architecture and skyscrapers of course!

And where better to put my first post than on the most anticipated, beautiful building this century so far! I was extremely fortunate to see it up close in march and honestly it blew me away. If you haven't seen it I suggest you do. Anyway nice to be here!

Thank you Hudson11! How are you uploading the pictures to the site? I have some nice ones from March that I think would be beneficial to share!

it is simple once your learn where to go. These photos are not my own, they were shot by another person which is why i provided a link to their flickr profile.
I use http://imgur.com/ because it is quick and no sign up is required. You click upload from computer then it does the work for you. All you need to do is grab the BBcode on the right.

here's one i saved on my computer from earthcam.

Many people prefer, and i would reccomend http://www.flickr.com/ because you can copyright your photos when you sign up. If you use imgur like me i'm pretty sure anyone can use your photos without permission, and may not credit you as the original photographer. I'm not sure how everything works with the uploading and copyrights on Flickr since i don't have a profile.

Minimum work is done on the weekend.

They're probably repostioning the crane, it's pretty windy outside.

No Professor...it is the SITE of the former WTC;if you don't know, the same than the new one.Just think the flashback can be interesting, which is not more stupid than posting always the same pics or arguing for ever about the spire/antenna...
