The new WTC1 look sensational! Nearly perfect!

The spire could have been better built though. Now it looks a little bit cheap. Is it finnished?

They definitely shouldn't go for a boring white on normal nights. These colored lights look so awesome. It really gives a big sense of individuality and uniqueness to the building at night

How much office space did the old World Trade Center have combined? I'm also surprised to see that 2 WTC has more space than 1 WTC, I suppose it's because it doesn't have a giant 200 ft base full of mechanical.

What are the dimensions of the floor foot prints on the tower's highest floors?

It's funny that Tower 2 has more office space than the main tower. Tower 3 and 4 are almost equal in office space to 1 and 2 and they are much shorter

Yeah it's called too many damn mechanical floors and making the floors smaller as you go up!

They aren't doing standard white lighting like the Empire State Building does, I am not sure where that info has been coming from but from the sources I've gathered, 1 WTC's spire is gonna do the same nightly color-changing light shows that Durst's other buildings (Conde Nast and Bank of America) have been doing for a few years now. To me it honestly seems like Durst is gonna do just that, for a sense of consistency, plus he's gonna want to capitalize on co-owning the tallest building in the USA for as long as he can.

The default white lighting doesn't seem like a very Durst thing to do plus I highly doubt the PA would intervene in such a matter (they gave him the go-ahead to take off the radome enclosure after all).

The base lighting, however, is a different story so I'm not too sure about that. I have tried to find extra details on that with little to no success.

No, 1WTC has 3.5 million square feet. That graphic is wrong.

I suspect the base lighting will be very similar, if not spot on, to the office lighting.

Is that including total space, or just office? The graphic is just showing office space.

According to CTBUH, gross floor area for each tower is as follows:

1WTC: 3.5 million
2WTC: 2.45 million
3WTC: 2.23 million
7WTC: 1.68 million

They don't have a figure for 4WTC, but SSP puts it at almost 2.5 million. However, SSP's figures aren't nearly as reliable as their diagrams.

That graphic was referring to office space only.

But clearly 2WTC can't have 3 million square feet of office space if its gross square footage is only 2.45 million. Same goes for 3WTC and 4WTC.

This picture shows just how amazing One WTC would have looked if they hadn't removed the radome.

Sorry, but I can't put a thumbnail as the picture is WAY to big.
