looking at the picture above. I just remembered to myself how AMAZING this whole complex will look when done. Sometimes we live in the here and now and forget the future. Plus with 99 Church Street (probably my favourite building u/c right now in downtown) in there as well, the whole area will be unrecognizable 10 years from now!

So all of the construction workers who we're working all on 4WTC and 1WTC, are they all going to work on 3WTC if so would this make construction faster for 3WTC.

Construction speed has its limits so more workers won't affect construction speed. Also, there is a limit of how many workers can be at a construction site at any time. As to where the tower 1 and 4 workers will work after these two buildings open, I don't know

If memory serves, the Twin Towers had a combined space of about 10 million square feet.

I think that was for the entire complex, but per tower I think it was around 4m sq ft, again thats from memory but maybe somebody else would know the answer.

As long as spire is lighted at night - it has way more grace then just like that.

The radome encolosure would make the lightning even more dramatic, besides during daytime it would look great too.

Why is it the new 1 WTC has less floors than the old Twin Towers when it's the same height in terms of roof? Is it because they made the floors taller in the new one?

And the mechanical floors have almost twice the height of regular office floors.

Oh, and by the way, the CTBUH has added a video to the news article it released on its website Wednesday. In the videos, the people are basically saying that One World Trade Center was deemed 1776 feet because of the spire's symbolic height and ultra-cool beacon. So I'll post it again because I don't think lots of people like to search pages or go to a website to search for an article.

CTBUH Affirms One World Trade Center Height
