I imagine 2 WTC as being the "South Tower" of the complex. It's located close to 1 WTC, almost as tall, and no giant spire. Just kind of bummed out it blocks the view of 1 WTC when looking at it from the east.

Why are there so many haters about One WTC? Is it because they can't accept change and that the Twin Towers will never be rebuilt again?

It's personal preferences.

Some grew up watching the original trade center under construction and probably still have nostalgic emotions with the buildings.

You can almost say the samething about the next generation watching the new WTC under construction.

Not an easy thing to accept. I personally didn't care for the Twins, but I can see why so many would want them back.

Does anyone have any update/timescale on the Lobby? It's something I'm really looking forward to seeing completed

Many people see it but before realizing, the genius feature (of 1 WTC) vanishes into thin air. You commented something worth of the honor ...

Is Mid Manhattan always more lively than Lower Mahattan? That's amazing.
Always, Lower Manhattan is dead, relatively speaking, compared to the zoo like atmosphere in Midtown

No way. Lower Manhattan is a sea of history with a chaotic street system allowing for strange building shapes and surprises around every corner. It's a fascinating area.

I'm surprised they didn't sneak a shot yet of the WTC in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

i didnt say it wasn't unique or fantastic, i'd take it over Midtown anytime but that's not what he asked and compared to Midtown, it IS dead at night.
