I think they were very attractive. Some of that was in the sheer size of the buildings. But to each their own of course.

The new lobby looks a bit depressing, it is pretty narrow. But I'm all for safety so I get why it's like this.

Hopefully in early 2014. Tenants will use it to fit out their floors.

Copyright by someone the user "AmyX" knows.

It seems they built the awning on the south entrance of the tower. :-) Everything gets together piece by piece nicely. I really canīt wait for it to be done and visit it again.

2,000ft is the limit, but can go higher if approved by the FAA

They have moved the maintenance car to the top of the hoist. So maybe, just maybe, they are starting to remove this ugly elevator (at least the upper portion):

See this post for more on the hoist:

1 WTC is certainly one of the most beautiful skyscrapers ever built. I love it.

Sort of, an other hijacked plane being smashed into pieces after hitting the tower with the tower still standing strong!
Awesome picture.

so there wont be any incidents with large aircraft (ie commercial flights) in a situation where they have to fly low or are off course while trafficking for a landing.

Has the glass cladding been completed all around (except for the side with the external elevator)?

How about the base cladding?

The only areas that need cladding is where the external elevator is, and small areas on the east side of the base.

The tower looks complete from the west.
