Could it be possible that One World Observatory can have the retractable glass balconies like Willis Tower.

maybe they were testing the spire lights in last night's brutal cold. I'm sure up there temperatures were subzero Fahrenheit like many places north of the city.

I've always wondered what a big cluster of glassy hypertall skyscrapers like Kingdom Tower and the Burj would look like.

Nice shots. Looks like something is happening in the 77th floor and look at those NYPD vans!

I've noticed that for a while. Did the workers install window blinds?

Shakkur98 I don't think the Willis Tower has retractable glass balconies. Melbourne's Eureka Tower ( In my avatar ) has the only retractable glass viewing experience I am aware of. It has that glass that can be turned from white to clear so when you are projected beyond the facade the floor turns clear. Like the panels in the roof of the lifts at Top of the Rock. All to add some excitement to the visit. I am sure WTC has the wow factor being in Lower Manhattan anyway !

That's a completed model floor.

No. I'm not talking about the 63rd floor, I'm talking about the floor a few floors above that with all the windows being white-looking.
