I'm still happy that is partially down. And Mercenary, is that true? Because the tenants have been fitting the floors for about 6 months now. So I need validation for that.

By the way, I made a time lapse:

The Foster tower is clearly the belle of this ball. I wish it were also the tallest!

Where do you get your information from? That's totally inaccurate. The building will be open to the public and for business next spring/summer the latest. Tenants start moving in this year.

Wow all of the towers are magnificent. I can't wait for 3 and 2 to rise. I remember how dominating 1 is and I can't imagine what it will look like looking up in 10 years

The observation deck will open in early 2015. I'm not sure if we'll see tenants move in this year. Maybe Vantone, but I haven't heard anything lately about them. But I don't think Conde Nast is moving in till '15. We may see a small number move who are setting up their offices. But it won't be anything substantial. I doubt the government tenants move in for sometime as well.

Hey guys. I watched this today and it offered some great information and views from 1WTC's interior at the moment. Click the link and from 5:00 to 7:15 1WTC is displayed. http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/21/studen...iref=allsearch

Conde Nast not moving till 2015 too. Probably won't see any tenants move in this year unless Vantone surprises us.

That's a shame. I was expecting at least some floors to be fitted this year.

Here's a unique way to "look" at 1WTC. You can see all of the photos on the artist's website. It's an interesting way to visualize how a building can command space.

Photos of Tourists Staring at the WTC Are Weirdly Riveting

Kelsey Campbell-Dollaghan on Gizmodo

Quote:
If you've ever taken a lunchtime stroll in Lower Manhattan, you've seen them: Sightseers (and locals, too) with their eyes raised skyward, watching the construction of One World Trade Center. Annoying to some, but revealing to photographer Keith Goldstein—whose photo essay Looking On captures the craning.

I see the red aircraft warning lights driving to work in the morning from 30 miles away on a fairly clear day pretty easily…same with the ESB. Anyone know when the beacon will be lit for good? If I can already see the warning lights which are supposedly weak in comparison, then the WTC should be like the north star for everyone within 50 miles or so on a clear day!
