I don't really think its one being brighter then the other, usually when they lit up the spire it was really bright lights, looks like a faint green color on the live cam.

I just went for a drive up the street to go see it (I'm about 15 miles away). I too could barely tell it was lit. Maybe they aren't going full power yet. The beacon looked good though.

Yeah, I don't think it's at full power.

The spire at night is gorgeous! Pure sci-fi but not in a bad way!

The lit spire looks great in touched up photos taken with a nice camera, but I can tell you that from your average vantage point, the effect is pretty underwhelming. Those mech floors have GOT to be lit up, otherwise it just looks terribly disjointed.

Don't worry guys, the top mechanical floors will be lit up. Most likely once the building opens

The night-time illumination is the saving grace of the radome-less spire. The lit rings do give it an interesting, sci-fi look. During the day it looks industrial and bare, at night spacey and interesting.

It definitely has a touch of magic at night that is missing in daytime. But it also looks better against a blue sky than a grey winter's one as above.
