I wonder if it's possible to light it so that it looks like the arches of the former towers?

Maybe if they dim the lights it will look better, but it still looks kind of good I guess maybe If we get more pics, it just don't go together with the office lights, or just wait till the mechanical floors are lit if that does happen. Alot of maybes

It's actually pretty surreal seeing office lighting being installed on the floors now....it's been so long. As someone who grew up with the twins...this tower certainly is a fitting tribute...so many times I look at it when I'm out and about and for a split second it looks like the North Tower is there. Love it.

The base would look sweet if it changes colors like the spire!

I personally would like them both just to be white. Keep it classy. So far the spire has been only white, let's see if it'll be green for St. Patricks day.

Well New York lovers.... Welcome to Shanghai or Hong Kong,, this screams EVERYTHING New York isn't supposed to be!

I don't mind it, and I think if this is the final concept over time, our children and less traditionalists will love it.

Welcome to the 21st century?

I think the blurry photo, coupled with well, maybe the rain doesn't do these photos justice, I imagine they will look much sharper and nicer when completed. I think they look pretty damn cool.

Do you really want to know why they were doing different colors? One word: TESTING! Just because they light it one time different coloring doesn't mean it'll be like that all the time. Remember the November 8th spire testing? It was lit in different colors now it's been only white.

so, the people behind the tests are "morons" for doing tests?
I have to ask, what was everyone expecting? It looks just like the renderings. One of the things that Miller Hare depicted correctly.
