I think that this story was actually kind of funny, except that the ignorance of security workers could have caused a terrorist attack. And the boy must have been really brave and/or rebellious to go up the building, because any person in their right mind would know that this is wrong.

I have a poster of the Twin Towers above my TV monitor (one of three posters of the Twins in my room) & comparing the two images, there is a haunting resemblance between it and the image of 1WTC & 8 Spruce.

It doesn't seem as though only the base is lit, but most of the LED modules are definitely not working correctly.

Jesse Pinkman. A lot of movies nowadays have shown this building, and that's good.

What I particularly like about the Manhattan skyline is the diagonal rise from waterfront to summit of WTC1 via increasingly tall buildings in between. This avoids the disproportionality of skyline of some Chinese cities like Shenzen, which appears to be being built in too much of a hurry.

Indeed, it's almost visible to the base from that angle. While the building in front of it is over 500 ft. But in the near future it will be less visible from this angle because 50 West St will look considerably taller than 7WTC in front of 1WTC.

That's an angle of Manhattan I've never seen before. Time to go to Google Maps and find that street, if you know what I mean.
