Not really. If you consider there are multiple tenants not shown. A couple of those floors are used for the observation deck and I think there are 7 mechanical floors if I remember right. Not to mention 3 more years before 3 wtc would be finished.

Sinceramente eu não gostei muito do design deste prédio.
As torres gêmeas, apesar da arquitetura mais sóbria, eram bem mais bonitas e elegantes.

True enough, and I do care about all of that. But that is a defeatist perspective. I would rather have seen a further half-decade of deliberation to get everything sorted properly than to see them capitulate to the construction of a compromise development. I saying "it does no good lamenting about an impossibility" doesn't excuse the issue. This is an obviously important issue, and the unabashed cheerleading exhibited by many on this site is rather deluded in my opinion.
And unfortunately I think your right, there is little that can be done about it now, except to hope the remaining towers will improve the developments' skyline impact considerably. And if not, that perhaps this tower will provide a moderately attractive median building for future taller and more impressive projects.
That doesn't lessen the current disappointment much, though.

It's a model of a comet. Saw it on the news today.

Here's a video, 1 WTC makes an appearance so it's "on-topic".

This graphic would be more useful if it showed the un-leasable mechanical floors as a separate color. That note in the lower corner isn't enough.

It's just the impact zone mechs and the cube base floors.

It's a green roof, its uses turf grass as a secondary insulator, also prevents run off on flat roofed buildings, probably helps with the LEED gold status

It's a temporary structure though, isn't it? Why would it help LEED Gold?

I'm pretty sure that will be disassembled within the next few months in preparation of the VSC nearing completion. Right now, it's just a temporary loading dock.

I think it's going to be there for at least a couple more years if I'm not mistaken.

-edit, just checked a NYPost article from 2012,
The PATH hub needs to open, then the temporary entrance needs to be demolished. Next the foundation for the Performing Arts Center needs to be finished. And then the underground road can connect to 1WTC.

1WTC definitely looks bigger and more imposing now that the glass is basically done and the lifts are almost down...it really does give off such an amazing resemblance to the North Tower...

More anecdotal than anything, but Legends Hospitality is the company co-owned by the Yankees and Cowboys and services both their stadiums.
