I was downtown for lunch yesterday... it was great being able to just walk right into the Memorial from West St. The line for the museum was ridiculous.

i heard they are bring the 4th of july fireworks to the east river by the Brooklyn Bridge. prepare yourselves for the most patriotic pictures ever taken.

I can't wait for the observatory to open...it's gonna be kind of weird though knowing the last time I stepped into 1 WTC it was the North Tower....

Great looking building. Love it.

The only think I dont think is 100 percent is the spire. Is it finnished? It looks kind of cheap compared to the rest.

And it looked way better in the renders for sure.

The spire was redesigned without the protective coating. The way it looks is how it will remain. The communication rings will look like they belong to the building once dishes and satellites are installed.

And it's not necessary that the dishes will be the same size right? So it won't look as uniform as in the renders?
