I'm with you, the materials are nice, but given how narrow the elevator lobby is, I can't help but feel like you'll be very aware that you're standing in the heart of a concrete cube.

I really do have to applaud, though, whatever lighting scheme they've got setup in there, because it looks like genuine daylight, and lord knows there's not a lot of that reaching the interior.

Keep in mind how the dispatch system works. People don't just go press an up button and wait. First they tell the system what floor they're going to (card swipe?) and then they are instructed which elevator to wait for. People aren't mobbing each other to get to the first doors to open. Instead they are waiting at a specific elevator.
