I built this skyscraper in Minecraft, and I gotta say, this one was interesting However, I don't think my build is that good as it was missing some stuff

I can't get over this lighting scheme, it's so reminiscent of the original towers. It looks and turned out great.

The way the mechanical floors are lit now is not how they will look finalized. There is "catwalks" between each floor that allowed the workers to easily install the light fixtures, so those will be removed. If you look on the 1 WTC spire cam, you can see a little section that shows what the final product will be. Overall, once all complete, it will have a more uniform look instead of defined lines.

Ugh the lights look awesome at night, but too bad those aren't real office floors with real office lighting like it should be. Instead so much floor space is wasted on excessive mechanical floors. Oh well coulda woulda shoulda..

I have thought the same, in other buildings the mechanical floors are spreaded at regular intervals separating the buildings in zones, here seems they are wasting what I think the most profitable floors, anyone cares to explain this ?

I agree. Why waste one inch of the best space on high floors when a lot of the mech systems could have been split up, on lower no-view floors and underground. I assume these were informed decisions and there were excellent reasons why it was done this way. I just don't know why. Also, I wish the mech floor lighting simulated the off on randomness of regular floors.

I don't know for sure but expect the mechanical floors are grouped nearer the top below the public viewing and restaurant levels. The highest office floors have to be a profitable size. If you take away the core the floor area up there is way smaller than the original WTC towers which had the top floor the same size as the ground floor. They wanted to replicate the original height and profile from certain angles so chamfering each corner from the podium to the roof leaves most upper floor sizes smaller than most company requirements. So you are right really...it comes down to profitability, and this was the solution.

Also, the mechanical floors have vents to circulate air or something, and they offer an allusion to the place where the plane hit the North Tower.

I heard that One World Trade Center has no street address. 2WTC is 200 Greenwich street, 3 is 175, and 4 is 150. But apparently 1 has no street address. I also heard that the original twin towers had no street address. You could just write "One World Trade Center" on an envelope, it seems.

I'm pretty sure that's why the podium has the flaps that open and close. It draws air in at the bottom of the tower then up the core then out the mechanical level vents. Helps cool everything down, including the office space. I could be wrong though. Just remember hearing that a few years back.

Isn't it 285 Fulton Street?

Gold light is almost indiscernible from yellow light. Unless they make it beige-y.
