This has to be THE building I want to see rise, and from all skyscrapers built around the world its probably the slowest one, they have their reasons for it, Im sure. And for this one, i have got patience. I want to go to NY soon, but I think I'll wait till this ones finished.

OH you don't like how long there taking. Why don't you go down there and show those guys how it's done without half assing the work. This building could get done alot fast if, the people who bitch about it progress. Got jobs down there and help out. I say if your not doing anything to help, then you can't complain.

i'm a new yorker but i have to accept this is pretty sad.....how hard can it be to construct a tower by some hundred of professional workers...i pass by here every two weeks and i see the same damn pictures of the same slow progress...

i want to see this thing rise already...i want a new lower manhattan...how hard can it get?there are making millions of issues to slow down this construction!

what's the matter with you?? Your argument must have been one of the poorest, senseless and most banal one of the entire forum. He just said it's going slow, that's all, so just calm down, ok? Every now and then jerks like you show up only to srew up all the nice going on discussion.
So if you have nothing productive to say, just shut up.

I don't want to sound crazy about this but why do people quote a post with a pic when it is preceeding their post ? I understand it makes quick reference to their point but you can end up with same pic repeated 4 or 5 times on one page of posts ???? Not complaining, just an observation.......Great pics by the way, having visited the site last September can see many changes...It's moving ! Great!

The point is you can't do anything about how long it's taking. The building will be done when it's done. You should be glad there doing something down there. For 5 years their was nothing happen. It took damn near ten years to building the first WTC.

Well at least they're finally getting something done. Something other than arguing over it like a bunch of idiots, as they were before.

Okay, upon a second look, it does appear to be scaffolding.

^ Yes. It was a parking lot. It is going to be the new Goldman Sachs world headquarters when complete. It will have retail space on lower floors, 6 trading floor levels, and 30 stories of office space.
