I think it'll really be finished when the observation deck opens.

Interior fit-out doesn't count as being complete on SSC.

Notice a difference? They finally changed the spire to be a pure white instead of that previous purplish hue white. This is the "permanent lighting scheme" for when there aren't special events.

only looks to me like the LEDs are on at higher intensity. Standard 'white' LEDs always have a blueish hue to them. Perfect example: car lights.

Not correct. Car headlights are High Intensity Discharge lamps (similar to street lights) not L.E.D's. Also, L.E.D.'s do come in a "warm white" coloration now.

Oh wow thank god, this was driving me nuts the past few months! I always thought they could adjust it better to match the warmth of the mech floors and podium. Pretty happy about the change.

Not correct. I have LED Headlights(including the interior) in my current car and a lot of newer high end cars are coming with LED headlights from the factory. High Intensity Discharge lights are becoming yesterdays technology. I've even converted my entire house to LED lights because I love the way it looks and they last forever

Is it completed, right? It should be now removed from this thread to the done buildings...
also in Skyscraperpage.com diagram it already changed status as built and become the third tallest skyscraper:

I'd say it is, if the forum considers construction logistics not architectural.

I'd be okay with us calling this "Complete". It's going to be a long time before that last part of the east side podium will be done. Normally I'd wait for the observation levels to be finished. But in this case I'm considering this tower finished. Eight years is long enough.

I wonder if they plan on ever decorating West plaza for the holidays, like they used to at the old one.

epic photos in the linked webpage. Rendering perspectives which caused me to do a double-take.

Yippee! I was SICK of having those purple lights. Now it matches with the mechanical floors.
