Go to North American Skyscrapers Forum - New York City ( New York Q&A For Visitors ~ Ask Here! ‎ ) Thread...no use duplicating that here...Your in Philadelphia ??? You can go to NY every weekend if you want ? It's nextdoor !

while I'm here...what are all the floors above and below the observation levels used for ? Seems lots for mechanical floors ?

this would be a great comparison if the first photo were zoomed in a bit towards the WTC...

I know. Thanks for the advice. I think most of the building is office, but there are a few mechanical floors as well.

Let's be real... this tower is nice, but it's not that great at night...

Anyone think the tower looks weird at night? It looks like a bunch of random lights floating in the air.

the only reason it looks like that at night is because its still mostly construction lights. give it another few months and it'll look more completed as a building.

From some angles it looks as if 1WTC gets smaller at the top.. does it or is this just an illusion?

Yes, the building tapers all the way up. Starts as a 200x200 square base then tapers into a octagon at the middle then finally a smaller square at the top.
