In all honesty, we have a better chance of seeing the original twins being built in a differnt location in lower Manhattan(which i personally wouldn't mind .) Before we see another freedom tower being built at the world trade center site to make a twin.

How does one gain access to the setback observation deck on 4WTC? Is it ever open to the public?

no. It's a tenant amenity. Sometimes there are special events, but those are likely tough to get into.

Apparently it was for a Stanford Business School alumni event. Would love to get up there myself.

Why is this sidewalk being fenced off again? It was open for a good amount of time.

I don't like the antenna/spire. The building would be much more iconic without it. It looks cheap. The new WTC is no good substitute for the old one. The New York skyline has been stronger in former times. The design itself is good. But the spire is unnecessary.

I really thank god that the spire has blended so nicely with the NY skyline after all this time. Without spire, the skyline is hard to imagine now.

Could someone maybe shop a few angles of the tower without the spire and in different times of day? I would be interested in seeing how big of a difference it makes.

I can't imagine this building without It's spire! Although I still wish they hadn't redesigned it, it still looks great IMO!

They should do the base in rainbow colors now that gay marriage is legalized.

It would be nice if they also lit the spire in rainbow colors.
