Ok, I've got a question here. Do not shoot pls. Why the column at the corner leans on one side? Is this cuz is not yet completely connected or there is some "structural "explanation? Thanks!

What will ever come with 200 Greenwich Street Tower 2 and 175 Greenwich Street Tower 3, at this moment in time. Stumps? Holes? or up for different proposal designs?

The edges of the base of the tower slant inward, and so does the steel underneath.

They'll get built, but the way things look right now it may not be for a while. By the time stumps even come close to being a reality there should be funds floating around to complete the towers.

Isnt some clock ticking on SPI to start the infrastructure work they were contracted to do by the PA?

IIRC PA gave them a contract to build out the sub grade infrastructure where 2/3 pits are as there will be services there that are part of site infrastructure.

The below grade works are nearly finished on 4WTC, so it will be interesting to see if they (PA/SP) continue to build out into 3WTC's footprint. The Calatrava Hub is supported by 2 and 3WTC and they are nearly finished removing the last of the old H&M station. We'll see what happens in the next few months.

I hope they photograph everything down there on the former H&M site. It is a very important piece of history.

The Hudson & Manhattan Railroad. It was an old privately-run subway that preceded PATH service. H&M went essentially bankrupt in the 1950's, and the Port Authority agreed to take over service in exchange for the land occupied by H&M's Hudson terminal -- the land on which the World Trade Center was built.

I see another large beam on a truck with a blue cab just to the side of the red crane. It looks different from the others in that it has no cross on the top. Seems just a tad bit shorter than the others that went up. I wonder where they plan on putting it?

Thats one of the columns that goes closest to the middle of each face. They are the thickest and heaviest ones, and the connector piece on top is huge as well. So they are put up separately. The connector should be delivered this afternoon.

Ah, spot on. I even see the connector piece on another truck now. I see just how large it is compared to the truck. Once they are installed they don't look all that large when compared to the jobsite. Everything is so large that getting an idea of the actual size is difficult from pictures.
