Are the stairs on the side part of the building or part of the construction?

Maybe someone closer to the construction can answer this for me. Does anyone know what the reason for the big steel perimeter columns being red is? I remember that the steel columns in the original Twin Towers were coated in a layer of red primer paint. Is this basically the same thing?

Anti-rust coating?

I'm really getting excited about the new tower...each progress update puts a smile on my face, even though I wasn't too excited about the design.

Those are temporary stairs. The stairs and elevators will all be inside the core when everything is finished.
