Yeah, I can hardly work my way through this thread with all those thousands of screenshots clogging it up. RKOwens44 should unleash the whole of his wrath with no mercy for such an unspeakably grave offense.

No need for the caustic sarcasm.
Can't be bothered to bookmark? Your assumption, Einstein. Ever consider that there may be a different reason why some of us may not be able to access the cam? Maybe work-related software issues?

To drone's point, the cam shots only wind up being posted here and there. Relax.

Unspeakable grave offense ... NICE!

...like me, for example. I usually read the thread after dark, so daylight shots from the cam are appreciated!

Question: Will the 'red' steel be in any way visible when the tower base has cladding? The renders show that you can see the columns through the glass, but they are white. I think it would be a cool effect to have red, white and blue incorporated in the Freedom Tower design, beams or lighting...

you are pretty new your self...i have been watching and following freedom tower since the last thread was up and deleted..not everyone has the link to earthcam or anyother cam so i don't see anything wrong with other members posting up cam pics..

Thanks for posting a screen shot. I like seeing the progress! It also creates a dated reference during the construction which is pretty cool to look back through!

(If you don't like it turn up the scroll speed on your mouse and get over it)

Why the attitude? And what work blocks JPEG images?

Now this argument makes sense. I can see how people who aren't around during NYC's diminishing number of daylight hours would be missing out, since the new version of EarthCam doesn't provide archives like the old, superior version did.

#1 work filter do block imageshack/photobucket.. etcc providers. My work has strict websence filters installed, I cant even view CAM because flash/java is not installed. Also many other domains also blocked...

on other side

I find it annoying too when I scroll and find damn webcam images all over page, 1 per day is enough. Also with tower above the ground we usually find real photos if it here everyday.

#3. I find it depressing that people here arguing about issues like this. This is just sad!!! This is exactly why I enjoy Wirednewyork more.

now can we please get back to CONSTRUCTION topic....

The perimeter columns on the east are already at the same level as the new core steel, which has been added recently. And the ones on the west for levels 3-5 are going up too!

I also noticed that they did not complete the cores, they only added core steel to the east side of the core, to be able to continue with new perimeter columns on the east. I think they are trying to catch up on the west now.

Jeeesus, there seem to be about 10 new columns since I checked it last time, which was about 2-3 hours ago. Did they hire some of the Skytree staff?

One big red beam of floor 7 is already installed in the southeast corner!!!
