Awaiting the arbitration decision. Should come next month. If Silverstein gets his $2.75 billion back, he'll probably begin work on 2WTC. 3WTC will still get built to grade since it's needed for the VSC ramps, utilities, and structural support for the slurry wall and transit hub.

Does the lobby count as floor 1? If so, then the highest connector beams between the core and the perimeter columns are to support floor number 7 at the moment. But if the lobby is not taken into count, then they would be for floor 6.
Yes, the lobby is floor 1...WTCprogress.com said that they workin' on the 4th floor right now, and that's the heighest floor of the tower at the moment...

The steel there is on floors that are mechanical floors. Ir seems to outline the actual floor. since those beams will be encased in concrete.

Got to be the 15000, the 16000 at WTC1 took a week and a half to assemble.

Nice to see this thing is finally rising .

I guess the hardest part of the tower is done.It should be rising much faster and will be very interesting to follow from now on.Tnx for daily updates.
The final look is just amasing.

Regards from Croatia.

Does anyone know off the top....

Will total square footage of 1 WTC be larger than a single original tower, or about the same?

How does the total sq ft including all of the buildings that will actually be built (say in the next 5 years) compare to the original WTC complex?

See you on Friday NYC... (Feel free to PM me with new must see buildings)
