They're talking about how long it took to building the Empire State Building lol. Which was 13 months the record by the way. So who ever said how long it took, to build the ESB was making much sense.

Global, not really because in France, Spain, Italy, Greece, etc... so most of countries in Europe, they didn't participate to Global Financial, and think of Japan, China, United Emirates, so most of the world!

No.

Help yourself by looking at the webcam. If people have updates the will post it here. It won't go faster if people ask all day.

Mods, please put all current webcam links on the first post of this page. That will helps people here to find the link instead have to ask for link repeatably. Thanks!

i'm sure they'll still ask, even if it's right in front of them.

Nice shots! I'm curious though about the crawler crane on the north side. Are they doing any work on extending the Vesey St bridge? Seems like it's still open for the public.

Thanks for all the NY updates IU!

I used the Vesey St bridge but didn't notice any activity around it because they've now covered the sides of the bridge with plastic sheets. The only view I got from the bridge was at the corner of the south staircase on the WFC side. That's the place from where I took the 2nd last pic.

Make me a list and I'll take care of it.

That's interesting news. I'd thought the bridge extension was supposed to down sometime in the 1Q 2010. Would've been nice if the PA had released their quarterly construction update.

...in the first shot by IndiansUnite...about 1/3 the way up on the SW corner, there is a beam that is crooked. I noticed it before...several pages back. Did it not fit right and they are going to fix it later, or was it left unattached for some other reason? I'm always amazed that all these pieces seem to fit together perfectly, even though I know the engineers and surveyors are great.
