Is this 18000 supposed to go to the Trans. Hub site?

Awesome pics! And yeah, the fact that they don't allow tripods at the WTC is kinda silly.

I don't know if this has been explained, but what is the purpose of the blue netting (or whatever it is) on the north side?

Is it a contractual thing that the concrete core has stalled at that level? i.e one contractor is doing the base and another is doing the body? Or are they doing it in stages?

Yeah, I think so. They are trying to keep the core a certain level behind the steel so that the concrete and steel guys can work at the same time and not interfere with one another.

Now the RGZ cam isn't updating either <sigh>. Well, we got a good run out of the HD EarthCam. I believe it had worked continuously since before the last snow storm, including through several heavy rain/wind events.

I wonder how many man-hours will go into relocating the 18000 that short distance? This cam shows parts of it waiting to be lowered into the bathtub:

Those are work platforms, the blue netting is fall protection. There is alot of work to be done at the edge of the floor slabs and they just make all that work alot safer to do.
