The waterfalls idea (in place of where the two towers stood or whatever) is very nice. Something reflective and memorial-like about the idea...

I was there yesterday, however - a few women from Times Square wanted me to show them the city, so I was screwed.

I told them I wanted to see a movie before camping at Times Sq., but noooooo, they wanted me all to themselves and forget about photography! I couldn't snap any photos of the Freedom Tower - damn tourists!

Happy New Year everyone!!

May 2007 bring the construction to New York City like never before.

Let us not dwell on the past mistakes made by many - such as the countless delays of the rebuilding.

Instead, let us begin the new year with a fresh start!

I wouldn't be surprised if more skeletal remains end up being found there within the next month let alone the next few weeks.

I hope they do find all of the bones. I mean it'd be sad to know that they forgot some bones and built over them.

Its like the WW1 battle fields. You could shut the site down for years and still find bones. Unlike over in France etc where they also find 1000s of bombs each year.

Wonderful pictures about Freedom Tower construction area, I like it. The complex has a big progress during this days.

I am surprised that even with the steel, there is still not kangaroo crane there hence it just shows another photo-op by Pataki.
