So 3WTC is around 1,300+ feet tall now? That thing on the top of that rendering looks like a spire. I hear there has been a lot of design changes anyway. But that rendering is not right, I think. (The 3WTC concept did have something like 10 spires)

10 spires? Well, based on the picture there are spires aside from the top roof, so there maybe more on the back that isn;t visible on the render.

Really doesn't matter to me, 4WTC needs to grow 60 ft though.

The old concept elevation I saw of 3WTC last year showed 2 even shoulders which created one setback, each shoulder with short spires, and the 4 100-foot ones on the top like now.

Shit happens. The only element of the old FT that I liked was the sexy diagrid system around her base; it created a strong tube-like structure.

Looks like things are finally coming along on the site. Maybe it will start rising soon.

Well they sounded very intent on making Greenwich street extend through the site, pretty much since the beginning.

They will soon release a new render of the WTC site which should include minor adjustments to the towers and the addition of tower 5.

1WTC is a beautiful building and will be an excellent addition to the NY skyline, WTC2,3,4 & 5 are a wasted opportunity to do something really groundbreaking and spectacular with the remaing plot..... saying that, i'm unsure what i'd have in their place, but then i'm a Nurse and not an Architect.
Looking forwards to seeing the new render, hopefully it will help change my mind a bit.
