They are still working on secondary core structure on the first floor as well as the protection walls.
I noticed that and also noticed the gray wall too. Just i asked in which floor they concrete... thanks btw

All the models a streamed via the internet. So using high resolution textures and lots of polygons (details) is killing your system and your internet connection. I have a fairly good connection and zooming in on New York with those 3D buildings on costs already a few minutes to completely load. Besides most of the models are user-made and google only needs to approve them.

This is kinda a random thought, but I think it would be really cool if they put a big "1" on the side of 1WTC near the entrance, like the big "7" on 7WTC.

I must say that OWTC is probably the slowest project of all Supertalls in the world

It started out that way but I think it's getting up there now.

I would be happy if it was like you're saying but actually what we all see is fact that we see the same situation at the construction site as it was month ago. Only difference we can all see is the number of steel elements at the top o actual tier. What is more London's The Shard is ultra-mega-totally-awesome-fast comparing to OWTC. I hope that situation soon will give opportunity to show us that New York's highest tower can rise as fast or even faster .

I hope that actually doesn't happen. fast doesn't mean better quality of construction, and with this tower, quality is the primary objective, not speed. This skyscraper is, as of today, the strongest skyscraper ever engineered with this kind of structure (that is, we do not take into consideration with this statement buildings built with a completely different structure like the ESB, for example). A reinforced concrete core with steel structure and frame , and glass cladding is the method taken into consideration (since it is the main engineering schema used today). And the OWTC is the best example of this. Ever. So, may they take all the time that is needed, as long as they build it correctly.
