You don't have to be an American to think that. As a European, I think exactly the same thing. Looks like everybody forgot the 11th of March in Madrid or the july 7th in London, both happened after 9/11. Sure, no building was demolished, and a few dozens of deaths do not have the same impact as a few thousand. But the ideals behind them are exactly the same.

I could think of a body part for Greenwich Village, but will keep the conversation civilized.
