I would rather not have #3 in the NYC skyline,
since when did we go from beautiful buildings like ESB and chrysler...

it's called change! cities, especially like NY, need to be modern and stay ahead of the rest of the world. if people in dubai build something outrageously crazy and ultra modern, NYC needs to do the same (in terms of modernity) but the design, i guess, can be a little more conservative. As for 80 SS, I love it.

No offense Chad, but that shot is hard to tell, but this flickr shot that was found does give a better view, though it looks as if not much has changed.

passed by the WTC site this afternoon.....i was in a hurry but was able to snap these.......to me it looks like it did 2 weeks ago, last time i was there....

That picture is either 1 week or 2 weeks old as the southern staircase (shrouded in black) was taken down a few weeks back but in this picture it is still there.

Much of it is on the tranist hub rather than the FT though.
