When is it suppose to be complete? 2012, right? If so, then I'm sure she'll live to be 86, heck she'll probably live well into her 90s.

You know, if she was just your average Jane I'd wonder how she would be able to stay away from NY so long without having the urge to go back...Then reality set it and I realized she's got plenty of castles to play in back home.

Its hard to enjoy a place when they're is security and police surrounding you and pretty much the whole crowded atmosphere taken away

Looks like the core steel is more-less done...Floor steel coming right after...I think this will be fastest constructed floor..

i've seen the twin towers fall. and it's great that soon a new tower will rise on ground zero.

this will be really meaningful to all americans. i'm getting goosebumps just imagining a building built after the twin towers.

thumbs UP on this!!

Well said. Also, any updates on construction? When are the next two levels of steel supposed to go in?

With all these extra terroist prevention measures like blast walls and extra thick concrete, is there any room left for offices?

You better chill because your SSC life won't be longer than 2 posts.

Back to the construction..
New steel load down at the site...If they keep this speed, 2 new floors could be done in the next 2 weeks...

whoa now no need to bash on no one :P. what he is trying to say is that there is already history to this building. where ones in chine are just being tall for 1 year untill the next biggest arise. this isnt just a building its a statement.
