That's the skylobby in the 64th floor, isn't it? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
that would explain why the 64th floor is one of only two floors rented to Beijing Vantone Industrial Company maybe -

The closest floor to a perfect octagon is the 72nd. I just measured the prints and that floor is closest to having 8 equal sides.

The first office floor is 186' 8" above the Lobby.

The core gets progressively smaller the higher it goes, eventually taking on an octagonal shape.

This whole time I've been imagining what the tower would look like if each floor from the 20th floor up were exactly the same square footage. Anyone else been thinking about this?

Consider the 20th floor and the top floor being exactly the same dimensions only rotated 45 degrees. I'm not trying to throw a wrench in here or whine about what the design could'a, would'a, should'a been, but it's just been kind of fun to think about.

Zen, Lofter, You guys ever think about this?

My thoughts exactly Steve, 4 days ago. It will be interesting to see photos looking up the diagonals towards the top, from the base, as there must be quite a slant to them.

Referring to the NJ project, hopefully never. Jersey city is getting too posh, it's an industrial city, it needs industry, not glass towers and luxury sky condos. v Ridiculous nonsense. You aren't even allowed to walk on the grass in most of JC, it's just there for show.

You are so right.
I'm sorry, I was unconcentrated and did two mistakes in only one calculation.
