Thanks! You know in the Scale Models section we're making the whole Freedom Tower complex. In fact i'm working on the 200 Greewich Street. Here are some pics of the paper model complex:

Wow, BOA sure has a lot of need for office space! I hope this works out to the benefit of 1WTC, but please do not let them put 'Bank of America' signs in large red neon letters at the top.

The WFC looks so short and stubby compared to the WTC.

This is platform connected to the tower..They'll put crane parts delivered other day up on thet platform...And I think this platform then goes up on those "rails"...

So this is what they use to call a "climbing crane".

I'll call it a crane elevator... no wait... it's a crane crane!

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

The connection to the exterior columns was the weak link. The trusses spanning from the core to the perimeter girder was in bearing and held together with a top bolt system which was not designed to carry the gravity load. This is very much unlike a traditional system where the bolted connection is designed to carry the gravity load in direct shear. When the fire occured the trusses sagged causing an unsustainable shear load on the bolt group. The initial failure caused the floor to fall to the next lower level which inturn overloaded the same lower connection ripping it apart. The resulting catastophic failure is what we saw. The core without its own bracing system (see the old photo above) fell due to lateral instability after five to ten floors fell away. The almost unbelievable symmetry of the eventual collapse was due to a simple atypical connection type under extreme loading conditions. Today, and even prior to 9/11, the idea of redundancy has been an important advance in the design of structures. It is amazing that even today, there is a reluctance to adhere to this basic concept.

So why do they have to engineer that elaborate structure to place a crane on the corner of the building where the wall slants at an angle? Why not put it on one of the four flat sides of the building as has been done countless times on other buildings? Am I missing something here? To me it seems they turned something simple into something complicated.

It's amazing to see the amount of greenery that has been added to NY. Who would have thought that tree and flower-lined bike and walking paths would spring up everywhere.

Macroing in runescape accounts for sale Basically, when you use a runescape gold, you are using a program that will play the game for you. There are many different types of these, such as; Mining Bots, Woodcutting Bots, Attacking Bots, but they all do the same thing, get levels. This is against the rules of runescape quests. Jagex bans thousands of accounts a month due to these cheats. I cannot tell people enough, cheating is NOT the answer. If people would just do the work themselves, then there would be no problem.
Macroing outside of runescape power leveling:As I promised, I researched and this is what I found; "A macro is a way to automate a task that you perform repeatedly or on a regular basis. It is a series of runescape money making commands and actions that can be stored and run whenever you need to perform the task. You can record or build a runescape gold, and then play the macro to automatically repeat the series of commands or actionsnfl jerseys."

I'd say because this is climbing crane and it's a lot easier to climb up to this angled side than at flat side where has to go straight up...
