Now that it's no longer cubic, I can't say it looks like the Borg anymore.

Still, I'm glad they're picking up the pace. It'd be nice to visit the observation deck while I still have some free time in life.

Morrongiello could possibly take two photos, one near the bottom, one towards the top and have the multiple images overlapping each other to have one large photo. That way can see the progress from the top of the building all the way back to its base.

The base is roughly the same surface area, but yes, the top may indeed appear skinny since the top floor is almost exactly half the floor area of the bottom floors.

Do we know for sure that the core will keep up from now on, or will there be other slow periods while they wait for it?

It's very unlikely we'll know that unless an SSC member is working on the project.

zensteeldude has the plans to the site, so he's obviously involved in it somehow.

It will be nice when this grows another 400' or more so pictures can be taken from farther places away.

I herd it through the grape vine that the concrete contractor was read the riot act. (Tishman and the PA gave them the business. DCM was stark raving mad over the delays!!!)

I would be surprised if the steel erection had to wait for the core in the future.

(f you were to read between the lines, as a sub-contractor, you do NOT want to piss off Jesus (Tishman) or the Holy Ghost (DCM) God is the PA.
