Trees at the memorial, weekly progress at Tower 1.
The west of the wtc is definitely moving forward I hope the eastern part will do the same!

ONE WTC NOW 375’ ABOVE GRADE

World Trade Center Progress
Newsletter September 2010

In August, steel erection moved above the 34th floor as build-out of office floors continues. The concrete decking is following steel at the 27th floor level, while the south concrete core of the building is now at 25 floors and the north core is at 24 floors.

The steel contractor, DCM, has jumped both cranes and is in the process of erecting perimeter steel columns. These columns will serve as the framing steel for the 33rd and 34th floors. Metal deck is at 32nd floor. The East Plaza high speed hoist installation is also underway.

A milestone for the building’s construction was completed this month with the mobilization of spray-on fireproofer that is now functioning at podium level. This was the last major step prior to curtain wall installation, which will begin in October.

It is, that article is a little out of date. It's wonderful when progress is so fast, press releases can't keep up.

Yeah, when this article was written, they were at floor 34th, that's 375'..Now they're at 36th floor, so it's over 400'...

But the point of posting this article was curtain wall..

First the granite tiles in the pools, now trees, soon 1WTC glass. I love that the WTC is finally showing what the finished product will look like.

Which floor is expected to be reached by the 10th anniversary of the attacks (approximately, of course )?
