Of course! Image updates really count as long as they are meaningful or rather new.

The new crane looks to be a Favco model TD133. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong.)

Max Load: 8 metric tonnes @ 25meters
8.81 short tons @ 82feet

For comparison, the other 2 tower cranes are Favco 760D.

Max Load: 64 metric tonnes @10meters
70.5 short tons @ 32.8 feet

Also, a 760D can lift more than half the capacity of a TD133 at 3 times the radius.

Does that write anything about the pace of construction of this project? If yes, am curious to know that.

A Nissan built in a Chinese plant takes only 18 minutes to complete , and the quality shows it.

A Ferrari built by hand takes one week and the quality simply shows.

The burj Dubai / khalif w/e, is pourd concrete and I doubt it will still be there in 120 years.

The wtc1 is a metalogical wonder that will be around for 100s of years.

I'm just thinking, can you NYers or yanks not resist slagging off of the Chinese in every god damn new york/shanghai thread? Where are your Iphones/Ipods/Macs and pretty much every other electronics device come from? Sorry for going off topic.

Cladding should start soon enough, but I prefer them taking their time, since too many times has the cladding on buildings UC been damaged because of bad timing (and poor safety measures).

For the OT comments, so we can put an ending to it (at least temporary):

1) Keep away from politics, especially when you have no idea what you are talking about.

2) The cell phone you own (assuming you are old enough to own one) has probably greater computational power than what was used when the old WTC towers were engineered. Estimation was the main path to follow, there were no supercomputers that could do simulations for that kind of scenario (or almost any kind really, given how rudimental they were). So again, keep away from things you know nothing about.

Probably the most OT I've seen on this page so far (and there is fierce competition):

iPhones, iPods and Macs, like almost any other major tech product sold in the world, is done by research, design, engineering and patenting in the United States (such as products from Apple, Microsoft, IBM, Intel, Google, and others). The cheap labor is given to the (usually) underdeveloped, low income based populated nations (GDP per capita) such as China, Vietnam, Mexico, Thailand....
The "quality" of the product is given by the engineering/design process, unless the lack in quality control measures in these countries affect the production of it.

So seriously, still need the useless chit chat, or can the WTC reconstruction be the only topic in this thread? You'd think that would be an easy concept to grasp.
