80 south looks like a kiddie toy.

we think these designs are all cool and futuristic now, but in 20 years, a number of our new buildings will be considered hideous, such as all those dubai buildings, the chicago spire. buildings like the freedom tower,SWFC, etc., will become classics like empire state building.

I agree with you. the same will happen as in the US. once the skylines of LA and Boston looked very modern, now they've become outdated and ugly.
the solution is building new skyscrapers all the time

I haven't seen the cam in over a week. It's nice to see all of the progress. It looks like most of the bottom part of the core is poured and FT's neighbor got a good 30 feet taller since I last saw her. The last article I read mentioned that 80 South Street was still alive.

On the fifth picture from 22nd july the building which is under construction at west street you can see it behind the bridge over west street.What is its name and do we have a thread for it???
