The performance center

Will they tear down the temporary path station to make way for the performance center or will they somehow incorporate it into the new structure ?

I'd say it's platform for material...Cranes put material up on it and workers take it inside..

In the shot showing the beam replacement, it looks like the steel has weathered some since it went up...not shiny bright red like it once was.

The beams are not bleached by the sun. They're covered with dust. That's all. Just look at the safety netting a few floors above.
It's a construction site. Don't expect a housekeeper to clean up every day.
