Nothing wrong with huge pictures in principle, that's what thumbnails are for. If you want to see super-high-resolution versions, click on the thumbnail, if not, your screen doesn't get stretched beyond absurdity.

I like this photo view, it's smaller than the surrounding buildings at the moment but will soon soar above them

On Fox News? Then it can't be good. Or if it is, it's been connected somehow to the evil/monument/invasion that "represents" the mosque that is "only" 4 blocks away. As well as arguments such as terrorism and destruction...

I was 39 on 9-11-01. "You Darn kids ! Get off my lawn !"

Use the zoom feature on your browser for big pics, or small ones for that matter.

I'd say it's a safe bet that some people died within the footprint of the new tower one, as well. That said, what they are doing is the correct thing. The memorials should be wonderful.

Is it just me, or in that render shot, does the Empire State Building look way too large? The perspective is screwy.

Not really, they didn't mention the mosque or the construction unions. It was mainly an overview of the project and reflections from people whose relatives died on 9/11, one being a window-washer.

We all knew that once this tower's foundation was constructed it would shoot up like a weed. It took a LONG time to completely construct the foundation, but now that it is done, this tower is growing at a very nice pace.

I really love this tower. My only real complaint is no outdoor observation deck. Really, you can't have the WTC without the rooftop observation deck. But who knows, maybe the PA will eventually come to their senses and move that godawful communications ring somewhere else. I mean, its not like its something that once built, can't be moved right?
