That is a sample of the cable net glass wall above the entrances. The article is correct, and glass is stronger than rda thinks it is.

I know how strong glass is - the quote implied that for 1WTC they have had to invent [I]new[I] type of glass to be strong enough for wind loading on a supertall. Clearly that is false - we already have glass-clad supertalls.

I don't think floor-to-floor height glass cladding is a "first" either.

Are news articles ever 100% correct, is Fox News Ever centrist ? So they embellished, the glass is a first in clarity. Can I just say, if you want facts, just ask me, I well answer if I can.

Fascinating rise of Freedom video on Fox. The CGI of the memorial looks excellent and I lve the idea of the fountains being in the middle of a wood of trees whcih will give it some serenity. I can imagine it will be the largest visitor centre in New York.

lovely vid! the lower manhattan skyline will look so spectacular once everything is done (2015 - 2018). and then, even the haters will have to admit that NY will regain its merited position in the skyscraper sky.

Cool, very (very!) slow progress at the start because of all the complicated groundwork, but now its rising very fast ! Cool too see those other footprints for the other towers too!

Next week I'm going to New York City, and I am very excited about seeing the progress this building is making. Last time I was in New York, many months ago, it was only 12 or 15 stories high ... now what is it? 35 stories high?
