A great feature about the visitor centre are the two steel columns which stand inside - something which is probably very difficult for people to look at but also a reminder that New York has stood up to it's demons..

What about Light Pollution Reduction? o.k not during construction.
Does somebody know if the building (or one of them at GC) gets a LEED-certificate? Which rating?

The Freedom Tower, the World Trade Center Memorial and Memorial Museum and World Trade Center Office Towers 2, 3, and 4 will all be designed to achieve LEED Gold certification and to be 20 percent more energy efficient than required by New York energy codes. The Freedom Tower and World Trade Center Office Towers will draw on four fuel cell systems for 4.8 megawatts of power, while the New York Power Authority and Silverstein Properties will buy a total of 184 million kilowatt-hours of renewable energy credits to offset the remaining power needs for the complex. World Trade Center 7 achieved LEED Gold certification in March.

Do we know what companies are going to be headquartered here yet? You guys have probably mentioned it 100 times by now, but I always clue in pretty slow.

Conde Nast will take 1 million sq feet, about 200,000 to a Chinese real estate company called Vantone, and government leases up to a million sq ft (but nothing formally signed).

Bank of America and Bank of New York also are looking for 1m and 600k sf of space, respectively, at the WTC.

Well as "Light Pollution Reduction"? This is equivalent to the entire city of New York? I do not understand. The buildings of New York can not stay with their bright lights lit? And the buildings of Midtown?

I think NY should have more light in the style of The Bank of America:

I'm very sorry that I don't understand you, but are you talking about Tower 3WTC of the new complex. But those are rumours and not really official unless someone has that news.

That is one freakin SWEET shot!

Had no idea WTC already had that many potential tenants. And surprised Conde Nast is taking that much space.
