Working platforms for workers..So they can acces to steel when the crane lifts it.. There's no floor inside the core like on every floor since that's space is for elevators, so they have to build those platforms for workers..

The lower parts of those scaffolds also carry a bunch of trailers for construction offices, bathrooms and the Subway restaurant.

Hi all.

- 5 dollar foot long Subway restaurant ?
- kidding ...

Great to see there are many posters in this thread that are knowledgable and helpfull. This thread seems to stay mostly on topic as well.

Fantastic to see this project reaching for the sky - 9/11 for me, was one of the most profound events in my lifetime - of the bad events.

Loved the twins - seeing pics as a young kid helped get my love for scrapers going. This project (and the other 3 if they all get built) is more than a fitting replacement - it is a great design that is a joy to "watch" grow.

Keep posting guys - nice to see people who try to help out as I do (mostly in the BK thread but I'm "getting out more" - )

Not sure if you're joking, but yeah, that's exactly the Subway restaurant that is in the tower right now that gets jacked up with the scaffolding.

I was shooting WTC 7 because of the shadow 1 WTC and its cranes are making on it now. Thought it was interesting.
