Good news people..This blue scaffolding on the south side of the base could be glass contractor's scaffolding...They'll probably use it to install metal hangers for cutrain wall on the base...
I checked out some recent pics and looks like it's gettin' bigger and bigger...October is not far away so looks like we'll see some glass soon...

You have your opinion, and I respect that. Personally I think Tower One is simple, but elegant.

When the Twin Towers were finished alot of people didn't like them.

Alright then..

Btw. In 2nd quarter report they said that curtain wall will start in October above 20th floor..How do we see this scaffolding on the base which is below 20th floor? Are they plannin' to move it up or?

The base and the office floor curtain walls are different contracts and the designs are totally different.

The office floors get a conventional curtain wall, aluminum frame, glass infill.

The base gets a grating wall, some sources say aluminum, the prints say stainless steel, with prismatic glass panels over that.

The office floors have anchors in the edge of the floor slabs for the curtain wall to bolt to. The Base cladding is all hung from the girts. (Clip angles are welded to the girts, I think that's what they are using the scaffold for.)

Does anyone knows the current height of the tower? And, what is the height of each office floor?
