Indeed! It seems like only yesterday when they were only as high as the base ... where the steel inverted "v" beams were (^) ... now it's double that height.

Just from looking at the tower when i go up there, i can tell it's going to totally dominate the skyline like nothing else. Yes, the old twins had a lot of presence, but this is from the modern era of building, something refreshing and inspirational.

Do they have a massive storm water system in the WTC complex? I just worked out that a mere 1 inch of rain over the 16 acres is roughly 1.6 Million litres of water.

Just thinking about all that rain sitting in the 2 WTC and Path foundations at the moment... wondering what its like working in the museum and memorial, with all that water gushing in.

I suppose a lot of the water would be soaked up by the vast forest that will be in place, but until then...

When all 4 office buildings are completed the site will be one of the largest complexes in the world by square footage? According to wikipedia even though not the most reliable source says the reniassance center in detroit is the largest in the usa i believe this site will top it at least if not even more by making it into the biggest in the world

Dinovabec or someone who can i was wondering if somehow you could send me the animation video to be able to download it onto my computer send it to me if you can email me on here please its not for my own pleasure im doing it for a high school project to show off the great works going on here, if you cant seem to get that one to work any animation would do

The Ren Center is most certainly not the largest in terms of, well, anything. Not these days.

Just get a .flv extractor for Firefox and rip the video off of the WTC website.
