I was wondering why my photo had gotten so many hits, and I felt that I had to check out SSC to see if someone had posted it, and sure enough I was right.

Thanks for enjoying it, not the best shot, but I liked how you could see a lot of the recognizable buildings from the tip of Manhattan. I am still an amatuer photographer, working on my stuff, so hopefully next time I head out to NYC I can get some better ones.

Anywho, 1 WTC is looking mighty impressive, I walked around the base, and was suprised how tall it is already, as it still looks dwarfed by the buildings around it, but that will soon change. NYC was a great city (was my first time there) and I cannot wait to head back, to check out the completed tower next time (maybe 2 and 3 also )

..this was photoshopped, right. ESB looks way too close, even if using a telephoto lens.

Why would anyone photoshop a pic like that?
I think that it's untouched.

Agree... if this is zoomed from Staten Island, it could be the correct view and proportions, as ESB is only about half the distance further than WTC/WFC - and still much taller.

The Metlife and Bank of America towers are just as visible. Telephoto lens, that's all.

How many towers do they have? When I was in NY I saw another very high GST, and we also went to Jersey, I asked the tourguide how the highest tower there was called, and it also was a Goldman Sachs building he said...

By GreenwichBoy, WNY.

Also, it appears on the RBZ cam we can see the scaffolding around the cores have been raised, so the new floors should start shortly.

Nope, no photoshop, just a 300mm lens from the side of the Staten Island Ferry (the front of the boat was closed off >_< )

Thanks for the compliments guys, I appreciate the support.
