I suppose that these white "spots" have something to do with the cladding, right? Maybe the glass is going to be held by them ?

Yes, they are brackets for the glass. Should be anyday now when we see the first pieces installed.

My Freedom Tower Dream Last Night

Yes, I've never posted in this forum before, but I thought I'd put this up for laughs, as 1 WTC was prominently in a dream I had last night.

I dreamt I was the President of the US (I think I was Obama, but can't be sure). The tower had just been finished (but I don't think there was a spire) and I was on the top for some kind of inauguration ceremony. So I kind of wandered away from the Secret Service, to go look over the edge, and I saw the construction elevator on the side. It was very rickety and jury-rigged - it was a long plank of wood, like about 1 foot across and maybe 10 feet long, supported by ropes at both ends. I was seriously thinking of taking it down to the bottom for some reason, that maybe I should rope myself off on the thing in case it got tippy, but the streets below didn't seem THAT far away, so I was debating whether or not to rope myself off when I took it down... anyway, I think at that point I woke up, and tried to remember the dream so I could put it up here for giggles. Hope you enjoyed.

The anticipation for the cladding is pretty intense. I hope we don't have to wait much longer. It's hard to believe that it will be over 50 floors in a few weeks. I remember when they first stated the foundations so seeing the way it is now is really is amazing.
