Nice glass, but I'll need a couple more floors to make a final judgement.

The tower is a semi fraud IMO. The glass is being made in China. PPG bid the job and was *slightly* higher then the China bid.

The Freedom Tower? More like the China tower.

Sometimes it takes a few refreshes or clicking last page to see new posts. I don't think this has been a problem in other threads for me, even ones that have a 'phantom' page (extra page number).

Edit: This message sometimes shows as being #17700 and is the last on page #885. Other times OldWorldResident's post shows as being 17700 and is the last on 885. While other times this post is 17709 on page 886. I think Draegen's post (the one after mine) showed as being the first on page 886 one time. Clicking page 886 sometimes reloads page 885. Not sure if reloading page 885 ever brings up page 886.
It's because mods/admins sometimes post invisible posts, which normal users can't see. So they count in the number of posts and pages but for the rest you don't see them, so that's why sometimes your on for example page 888 and you see 889 but can't enter it. And it also messes with the post numbers of the latest posts, so actually you are seeing everything just some not interesting moderator nonsense you don't see.

Yeah, the glass for the base is being made by a Chinese manufacturer. Ignore the fact that 95% of the rest of the tower is made in the U.S. Let's also ignore the fact that it's the WORLD Trade Center.

Just ignore him. He gets cranky because the chinese parts, but his nickname is "Nasa", which is building the interrnational space station. Kind of a FAIL

Thankfully nothing is being made in Argentina...we want it to actually function like a world class tower.

So the world trade towers that have been built in a few Chinese cities have had plenty of USA manufactured parts? Do you even think about what you write dude?

Irrelevant. The entire purpose of the World Trade Center is to serve as a hub of global commerce; although unnecessary, it's not at all unreasonable to be built using materials from around the world. To make the Chinese glass a point of contention is irrational xenophobia at best.

C'mon dude...just GO...GO AWAY.

Back to toppic, how is the glass attached?? It's outside the frame, so I suppose it's glued.
