Tough talk considering that your hometown is chalked full of really ugly architecture, and the old capital of your USSR wet dream has the ugliest cluster of skyscrapers I have ever seen. Oops. Now I've said it.

Notice the near mirror quality reflections in the glass of the testing mock up.

They would remove it from the individual pieces while safely indoors, just prior to hanging them.
To protect from small falling debris, like nuts, bolts, etc from the upper floors. Several supertalls have protective film on their glass during construction to protect from this, the IFC in Guangzhou is a fine example of this.

It has been said by others but if you have nothing interesting to say, say nothing at all and stay on your local forum and bla bla over there!

So no one can give his opinion about skyscrapers as long as his hometown doesn't have nice ones? Agreed, his post might have been a bit rubbish, but this kind of defensiveness sounds like primary school talk.

Me myself, I also don't like the overall shape of this tower. But yeah, as long as Antwerp doesn't have a nicer one I'm not allowed to say so.

Here is the old World Trade center Master plan (Original 1966 plan) and Blueprints for both Twin Towers.

Everyone is assuming EuroVison was referring to 1WTC. He could have been referring to the mock-up of the Performing Arts Center. With the totally screwed-up indexing in this thread, who knows???
